"I was with my wife, my brother-in-law and his wife from Jan 22 to Jan 30 2012. We all agree that this is one of the resorts that we recommend to our family. We travel all the time to many different resorts that are 4 or 5 stars. We found that this one was good enough to be 4 stars. The room was very clean, the entertainment was great and the restaurants were great and different everyday. All the people were very friendly. The location was great because it is only 10 mins to the Santo Domingo airport and 20 mins from the historic Santo Domingo. I recommend this to even our sons, and we normally don't recommend some of the other resorts we go to. 5 min walking distance to the beach too, open bar, restaurant and shops in a private section of the beach. We would like to thanks Luis Dominguez, the waiter from the restaurant, and Susano the kitchen assistant. Thank you all very much."

"The resort was very clean with well maintained lawns and pool area. An excellent variety of food for each meal with lovely setting and staff. Both daily and nightly entertainment were a lot of fun, especially Jaimie and his fun team! However, the housekeeping staff were sloppy, and a couple days did not show up at all. The front desk staff was far less than helpful, worked very slow, and showed indifference in regards to any questions or concerns. "
