A stunning hotel set on Cayo Levantado island. This is the only resort on the island, making is a great place for a secluded, relaxing vacation. At 195 rooms, the Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado is smaller when compared to some of the other Bahia Principe resorts, but the service and attention to detail her are a step above. A great spot for couples looking to getaway. One important note, packages to this hotel sometime fly into Puerto Plata, making for a very long transfer ride.

Another great new five-star hotel from Bahia Principe in Samana. The Cayo Levantado is set on the secluded island that bears the same name as the hotel. "This is an excellent hotel. The accommodation is great. The rooms are large and beautiful and the staff is extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant. The beach is not large but is very nice, with clear blue water. The snorkeling although not at the level of the Mayan, is actually pretty good. The food was also very good.

I cannot imagine a nicer hotel or a nicer location, especially when you consider the Dominican a "developing" nation!"
