"Just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks at the Grand Palladium in Montego Bay! This is my 4th time & it gets better every year! Great entertainment with the stage shows, Theatre & a different band in the Infinity Bar each nite. The Reggae band Sunday nite is the best & then the Steel Band Wenesday nite is also outstanding. They have 4 different pools & 4 different beaches. Barbecues, Bonfires 6 different restaurants & a Casino! The setting is breathtaking & the staff outstanding! They are so caring & can't do enough for the guests! Their Spa has everything! Can hardly wait until next year!"

"We recently returned from 2 weeks at the Grand Palladium in Jamaica. From Jan 23 until Feb. 6, 2012. We had a fantastic time, the rooms were beautiful and the people super friendly. There was absolutely nothing on the dining room menus that we didn't enjoy. Such a variety of food and only fault was that it was too good and we tended to eat too much. The pool was spotless and fantastic. We spent a fair bit of time at Sunset Cove Beach which was busy but so relaxing. It was really calm and usually with no wind. The paddle boats, etc. always seemed to be available and we really enjoyed them. The only draw back was that we had to leave a day early because there was a problem filling the planes. We were delayed almost 3 hours and spent a lot of time on the plane before taking off while they attempted to fill the seats. This was the only complaint other than having to leave early. Would definitely good back again."

"Good food (lots of selection) and good drinks.
Good service, everyone was friendly (sometimes too friendly!!!)
Hotel is really big, lots of walking, but has everything you may need.
Room was nice and spacious. Pretty clean.
Beach was really nice but rocky in some places.
No complaints, great trip overall!

"Our stay was quite enjoyable, except that the first day we arrived, we found out(along with many other guests)that the hotel had been overbooked, and that there were no rooms for us for 2 days. We were bussed 2 and a half hours to Couples Tower Isle in Ochos Rios. To say the least, we did not arrive there until midnight, but that resort was wonderful and the people were so nice. We loved our stay there. When we finally arrived back at the Grand Palladuim 2 days later, we were upgraded to a seaview room at no extra charge. Overall our stay at this hotel was very good. The people were so nice, the rooms were huge, very clean but the airconditioning did not work the greatest. Who cares? We were in Jamaica!!! Food and drinks were awesome especially the ala carte restaurants.Even though the front desk was a little confused, our holidays was fantastic--beautiful pools, well kept grounds, friendly people. Say hello to Joy and Marlene in Miss Lou's Bar. They were great!!"

"It was better than wonderful!! This was the best vacation I have had in years. I have always hesitated to go to an all-inclusive because of the 'what ifs' What if I don't like the food? What if I don't like the room? What if.....
Once I allowed myself to go on "Caribbean time" it could not have been better!! Right from getting on Sunwing - the crew was great, to the hotel. I wanted to change my room - no problem. The only regret I had was that I could not stay longer!
I was a little aprehensive because I went on vacation by myself. However, I felt completely secure and not bored!

"My husband and I traveled to Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton oct 5-10.
We flew from Phila to MBJ via Air Jamaica 7:30 am departure landing in Montego bay at 10:30. Flight was uneventful, boarded early ,landed on time. Got our luggage and headed to the JTL tour desk to get transfer info, we were given our transfer bracelet and paperwork and directed to our bus, got to bus was ready to leave. Most people on the bus were headed to negril, took about 30 minutes to resort,we were let of at GPJ side cause that's what I booked.
Check IN:
We arrived at Gp about 11:30am and went to check in and they said you're in luck room was ready! Also they moved us the the LH side villa 26...perfect location! Got our ride the the room with the bellman. Dropped luggage unpacked and headed to lunch! We went to the sports bar. Had a burger and fries and Rum drink of course! Went back to room to take some photos and relax.
Restaurants:
We ate first at Bubbas, next night at Lotus, 3rd night at pastafarian, 4th at Indian, and last at the Jamaica cuisine restaurant. All the food was outstanding...except my husband and myself both agreed we weren't to fond of the Indian place. Because of the main pool construction they alternated the restaurants and had 2 buffets closed the only buffet open was the Negril. We ate breakfast there everyday. For lunch we ate a few times by the Jerk hut, and the restaurant by there Poseidon. We mostly went to the sports bar for lunch good food ,Clifford is awesome. Once to the buffet.
Beach:
The beaches were awesome! We was mostly by the beach right in front of our villa, snorkeled a little and swam a little. Got a little burnt so we stayed out of the sun for the most part.
Pools;
Construction moving along on the main pool. they were still removing tiles as we watched from the infinity bar and our room. they were working late into the night. We only went to the adult pool so i cant comment on the others. The pool was as warm as bath water, we only went in once.
Room:
The room was phenomenal...We got a one bedroom suite. room 2630 awesome views from both balconies, we saw the sunset everyday from our balcony and the beach. plenty of room. stocked mini bar with soda water and beer. just watch if you leave any glasses the condensation attracts these little bugs. found out first day and were just careful not to leave any drinks around. maid was good room always clean and pretty surprises on bed every night :)
Internet:
The signal for wifi was best upstairs in the lobby of the LH side.. I got 1 hour for $8 in our room but the signal not so great sometimes. the 24 hour wifi is one day not 24 hours used over time. for all that wanted to know.
Staff:
I would say the "Jamaican" staff make the whole resort worth it! Everyone very friendly went out of their way to make sure you were having a great time and good drinks! The hostess at the indian, lotus, jamaican, italian restaurant was the best, My husband is a jokester and she remembered us every night. she said I could come back but leave him at home.
Check out:
Called the bellman at around 10:30 to get our luggage. went to check out handed him our keys and towel cards and as easy as that we were checked out. Went to sports bar for lunch were Clifford the chef took care of us, a few more drinks and the transfer left at 12:30 so we got on the bus and away we go to airport. arrived at airport at about 1 pm. our flight was at 5:30. so we looked at the shops around the airport had a drink a beef patty and played some cards, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be waiting for 4 hours. boarded plane, arrived about 1 hours earlier than expected which would have been good if we had a place to park the plane. no worries got off plane about 9:40 headed thru customs, and off to get our car.
All in all was a fabulous vacation we are going to take our daughters next year sometime"

"When we arrived and spent 40 minutes in line to register (we were the first in line by the way) we were then shuttled to our suit. We were on the second floor of 3. Our cards would not turn on the lights. The person that helped us with our luggage said he would take care of it and left. We didn't see him again. After 1/2 an hour we then decided well maybe our cards just didn't work in the energy saving device that had been installed. So I walked up to the main lobby and had the cards re-programed. They still didn't work. So I hiked up there again and thought maybe 3 times lucky? At the desk, they said "Just call and we will send someone if they still won't work". They didn't work, so we tried to call but the phone didn't work. Walked to the main lobby again and asked if we could move to another room (this is now into our 3rd hour of arrival) there were not any any more available suites but they were going to send someone from maintenance. Within an hour someone arrived. He rewired the lights and asked if there was anything else. Well, by then we had a list. The telephones didn't work, the fridge did not work and it wasn't stocked. Our safe didn't work nor did the locks on our front door. The tv's didn't work and the air conditioning didn't seem to be working either.
He wrote all of that down and eventually over a three day period most of the issues were resolved. But during the week the sewer backed up into the shower, we didn't get towels in our room (bathing towels not beach towels) until Wednesday. We would ask for them on our way back from dinner at the front desk. By the end of the week after requesting to have the tv's fixed they still didn't work.
But in the resorts defense, the maintenance person said this building was not suppose to go into service yet. That would explain a few things. But after all of the requests at the main lobby desk we never even offered an apology. The resort is beautiful to walk around in and there is something for everyone. The food was great the entertainment was fabulous. But it is not a resort that I would care to visit again."
