"The Lady Hamilton is a great resort, tied in with the Grand Pallidium there was plenty to do. The best part I found was the staff in all the areas were very friendly at all times. The food selections were great including all the specialty resturants. Our room was always kept clean and always had lots of hot water in the shower. A few small negatives were the Gym was quite small and not kept up to par and for some a there was a lot of walking to get to the pool and resturants. etc. (But good excersize considering all the food and drink consumed) As far as the tours we took, they were all awesome except for one thing, there is a high expectation for tips from everyone along with a suggestion of how much they expected....this was a real turn of!!! and annoying. All in all Jamaica is a great place too travel too.."

"We have just returned from our trip to Jamiaica and we had a lovely time at the Lady Hamilton. The staff is fantastic! So friendly and helpful! The accomodations are nice and very well kept. They are cleaned daily. The grounds are beautiful with many areas to swim and lots of activities to do. The day that we went to the spa did not live up to our expectations. The jets in the hot tub were not working and there was no steam in the steam room. There are many different restaurants and 2 theme night buffets. The food was fine...nothing spectacular. We went to the Dolphin Cove about 5 minutes away and had an amazing time! We also went to Negril for a day trip. We took a tour through Juta tours which you can book right at the hotel. Our driver was James Thompson and he was fantastic! He took us wherever we wanted to go and shared many interesting facts about Jamaica and the areas that we visited. So knowledgeable! He also does airport transfers and all of the various tours across the island. His number is 1-876-434-1565."

"Fabulous Resort! This resort has four different beaches (one adult beach & pool) Wedding facilities. A wonderful Spa! Four pools! 7 different restaurants. The Infinity Bar has a different band every nite! Many places to walk as it is spread over 7 acres. The Staff is absolutely Fantastic!.. Their service is superb! I have stayed there 3 times & have had a most wonderful holiday every time! They also have great children programs & special concerts where they participate! I just can't say enough about this wonderful resort. Always go for two weeks if you can manage it!"

"I found the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton to be a 5* resort. I emailed ahead of time and asked for an ocean view. We got it and it was amazing. We had a one bedroom suite with 2 balconies and we could see the ocean from both. The beaches are a little rocky, but nothing to bad. The food was outstanding. We always found something and the seafood restaurant was our favourite. You have to try the shrimp and PEI Mussels. There is a fair bit of walking but we didn't find it a bother at all. We always had towels, and facecloths, and we did tip about $3-$5 per day for the maid. Besides that we didn't tip a lot. I would definitely book with Air Transat and get the imperial club inclusions. Being able to reserve for dinner was so convenient, as well as getting the separate check in and check out. The "bottle" of rum you get is a joke. It is a little bottle you would find in the fridge of a hotel that gets you one drink. Really not worth mentioning. Location is away from a lot but we didn't mind at all. If you want night life don't go here. All in all a great trip, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"Although we had read many negative reviews about the resort, we went with an open mind. We were pleasantly surprised in every way but the most enjoyable aspect of the visit was the people of Jamaica. The resort was beautiful, the food, drinks, pools, beaches were all wonderful but the staff at the resort made all the difference. They were friendly, attentive to our needs and seemed very happy in their jobs. We traveled around Jamaica on two different days, with a rented taxi, and saw a lot of the country and had a very interesting driver. He even took us to his home in the country and on a "walking tour" of the countryside, pointing out the various fruits, crops, etc. We told him we wanted to see the "real" Jamaica and he delivered. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort although the only drawback is the location. It is not close to any town which offers visitors an opportunity to shop or dine. Montego Bay and Negril are both 45 min. away. I am sure that Lucea, the little town about 5 min. away, will soon be more tourist friendly as the resort is huge and is adding another section. It can already hold 2000 guests which is how many were there when we went home. They handled the numbers very well and it did not seem overly crowded at any time.
All in all, a great vacation can be had at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton in Jamaica. Like the locals say........"everything irie"..........."

"It was more than we expected, beautiful set up, newly opened in february, we asked for junior suite, view on the water,we had view on everything that was there, pool, complex so we were very pleased. There were 9 restaurants, 6 a la carte & 3 buffet style and everything was quality, very tasty and a la carte restaurants very well decorated, great ambiance. Entertainment was carribbean so singing, dancing like all inclusive entertainment but lots of energy. Main swimming pool very big... with swim up bar and there was several other pools in the complex as well. There was 2 small bays very calm and blue water with water sport equipment. Over all we totally our week, Loved our room, big and comfortable, jacuzzi tub, great balcony etc. Service over all was very very good.. I would recommend the Lady Hamilton"
