"Welcome to Gilligan's Island....in a good way.

If you are a spring breaker looking for action then this is not the resort for you. However, if you want to commune with nature (I mean naturally in your birthday suit), if you are looking for rest and rejuvenation, then this is the place for you. The staff and service here are attentive and there is lots to explore here. Feel like a castaway on your own island!"

"Hotel and grounds were excellent, staff were awesome. Lots of activities to do. Food was ok but the buffet food needs to be kept hotter. There was a terrible amount of house flys crawling all over the food continually. They tried to keep it covered but they HAVE to do something about this problem. The flys were also a major problem at the bars they were crawling on the bottles and glasses all the time. The Management needs some health issues addressed for sure. "

"To rate this hotel 3 1/2 stars is an understatement. This hotel is far more better than the rest of the hotels in the area. Service is great especially the lady that is in charge of cleaning our room (Rm. 4122). I think her name is Fanny. Drinks were in abundance except pop, sometimes they run out of it. However, there is not much selection on the food that was served. Also, they fumigate the entire complex at around 6:00 p.m. so there will be less mosquitoes by the time the evening entertainment starts. Overall, if given the chance to go back to Cayo Largo, I definitely would like to stay at Barcelo Cayo Largo again."
