"We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. I do not have any complaints, the rooms were clean, the food was great and the staff was so nice. I was not nearly ready to come home after my 2 weeks, I have been to other resorts and by the end of the vacation, I am ready to go, tired of the food mostly but at the Bavaro that didn't happen, they have quite a variety to choose from and not a problem getting into the restaurants. The nightly shows were good, there is some very talented people in the shows. I wasn't too keen on the audience participation shows but the rest were great. If you need anything you just have to ask, the staff helps you very promptly, no complaints there. This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel and would go back a 3rd. Wish I was still there!"

"This hotel was on the pricier side for us, but it was a special occasion. We have been to other 4*s in the DR, but this was our first time in Punta Cana. The beach is beautiful. It was very windy, not sure if that was unusual. The resort is beautiful and lush with flamingos, ducks and geese. The buffet was surrounding by a man made pool where the birds congregate and you can feed them. The room was clean and very nice. The fridge was always stocked. The food was typical buffet fare. There was always something to eat. Neither of us became ill. The house wine was not good. My only complaint and I am no wine connaisseur. We tried one a la carte, but found that the only benefit was that the food was cooked for you and hadn't been sitting out and it was a bit quieter. We enjoyed the beach bar and the buffet down by the beach where you could have soft serve ice cream and help yourself to tea or coffee. The drinks were very good at the bars. Champagne is included. The nightly entertainment was pretty cheesy, again, typical Dominican shows. Internet was available at a sister hotel, within walking distance. We really have nothing to complain about. Everything went really well. For the price however, I think that we could have found an equivalent spot for maybe two thirds of the price we paid that would have been just as good."
