"A group of 5 of us with a child that was 9yrs. stayed at the Iberostar Daiquiri from January 15 to 29 , our check in went well, our rooms were not fancy but then again we just slept in them, rooms were clean except my bathroom in my room smelled like sewage, I think it was coming from the drain on the floor, but after my husband started pouring water down the drain every now and then it wasn't to bad.
The childrens club also known as Lucy's club was good, the kids seemed happy being a part of the evening shows. And for the food... what can I say that you haven't heard before, Cuba is not known for the food, but there was always something to eat and it was okay. Now if you like to snack at night their late night snack bar (which is open at 11 PM) was soooo bad, only salads, no hot food and couldn't even get toast or cold cuts to make a sandwich, and when your traveling with kids, it's hard to try to get them to bed if their hungry! So bring your own snacks or get them something from the buffet to bring to your room for later.
The Beaches were the best I've seen,Wow is all I can say. the sand is like walking on powdered sugar and we were lucky the weather was great with only a fews days of cloudiness but still great! A must is to go to pillar beach it's worth the trip .Are we going again? Yes:)"

"My friends and I stayed at the Iberostar Daiquiri and it was certainly money well spent. The reception staff were great, especially Yudelcy! We had no problems with our rooms mechanically, however, people should be warned about the paid internet - it is so slow, that there is really no point (unless completely necessary) to buy a card! You will get timed out before a complete page loads. But obviously, people visit Cuba and other warmer countries to relax and not spend the day on a computer. The entertainment staff at this resort was amazing, and made attempts at including everyone in various activities. "Aqua Gym" and "Beach Volley" should not be missed! The majority of bartenders are incredible, as well as the chefs who made us specialized pizzas every day for lunch. All in all, the Daiquiri was a great resort, and I would certainly consider going back."
