"What I really appreciated about this resort was the friendliness of the staff. The hotel had amazing buffets and it was a gorgeous location. We would go back in a minute! The pool got a little crazy some days and I was not impressed how people broke the chair reserve rule. You had to go down very early to get a poolside seat. Our room was average. It was a Junior Suite with Ocean view. There was a slight moldy smell in the entrance. The atmosphere was overall great and there was entertainment in the foyer every evening for those who like a slower pace. The clubs were a bit noisy but shut down at not too bad of a time. I would go back again just based on the staff of the hotel. They were happy to be in their jobs and it was normal to find them singing as they went about what they did."

"LOVED IT! If you don't like this All Inclusive, then you will NOT like any. THe people are super friendly, extremely helpful, always nice. If they don't have what you request, they will get it. My ONLY negative, was the store in the hotel. Totally got ripped off on exchange there. do not buy anything there unless you have the exact amount. Other than that....LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Great place!"

"We can not say enough good things about our trip to Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort. The staff are sooo helpful and polite. We had 2 small issues with the original room - they immediately came to see what the issues were and changed our room and had wine and fresh fruit awaiting us when we came in from the beach. The grounds are kept very tidy and fresh. Did i mention the staff are soooo friendly from check in to the beach girls offering you to get a drink or the catamaran offering to take you out. We would definitely reccomend this resort as we are thoroughly rested and didnt want to leave. GREAT PLACE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED...."

"First I would like to start off by saying that I was so pleased with escapes.ca. When searching for my resort escapes.ca was the lowest price that I found. Once I booked my trip, escapes sent me our own personalized vacation website. This website was filled with tons of information for my vacation. It had all my airport information such as baggage allowance, our itineraries, ID required for our trip, tons of information on our resort such as the weather for Jamaica, a count down clock to our vacation, our accomodations, facilities and it's features, entertainment activities and tours, insurance information, credit card phone numbers in the event lost or stolen, a checklist which I found excellent. There was so many things on that list that I never even thought about and it was very useful. My information package was done to a tee. I had absoutely no confusion what so even with my trip. My personal website made this possible. Thank you very much escapes.ca. I hightly recommend your services. My vacation was planned for a family members wedding. My husband and I book our trip fairly late and we were not able to the same resort as our other friends and family memebers which stayed at Iberostar Suites a four and a half star resort. We booked with Iberostar Beach a four star resort and sharing the same beach also was Iberostar Grand Hall a five star resort. Our resort Iberostar Beach was wonderful. The resort was beautiful, my room was very nice. We were greeted with a triopical drink when we first arrive at our resort. Our room was available right away. Check in was not until 3PM and we arrived at 10AM so we were really lucky. The workers where so nice. The grounds were very nice, pool beautiful, the beach was kept cleanned, food was out of this world. We got to choose three specaltiy restaurants to eat at. Steak House, Caucan and Japan Restaurant. The Japan restaurant was my persoanl best. Very entertaining. There were two things that I was dissapointed with, one was there are no clocks in the room or around the resort which made it difficult for our dinner reservations, or the buffet and for the wedding we were attending. However my real dissapointment was that my husband and I had to pay thirty dollars each for what they consider a night time pass 6:30PM to 11:00PM to attend our family wedding because it was at the Iberostar Suites Resort. Okay first of all we would have preferred to have been on the same resort but they were all booked up, second they are all the same resort just different star levels and lastly all Iberostar Resorts have all inclusive packages, so why did we have to pay to eat and drink at there resort when our trip was all inclusive anyway and why a time line to be with our family on such a special day. This was very dissapointing. However for the remainder of our stay we all just met on the beach and enjoyed each others company."

"We visited Montego Bay, Jamaica May 1-May 7, 2010
My experience rates at 4 out of 5.
The hotel management is good. The people are fun to be around. There is always something going on and it's always fun. Whether it's on the beach or at night, there's always something to do.
The beach was okay! The service was great on the beach! If you're ever there get the "Tiger" - not mixed/blended - It's sooooo GOOD!
The food....i can go on and on about how good the food was....I was honestly scared when i read a couple of reviews on trip advisor, but was relieved that i never got sick, neither did my husband. We ATE A LOT! The food was great...the variety at the buffet restaurant was great. Everyday they would have a couple of featured dishes. I would have loved more fruits but it was okay.
Next time i go, which i will be doing, i would want to try the Suites, or the Grand rather than the Beach resort because i heard they have everything at a higher scale, which would be nice.
Have fun in Jamaicaaaaa YA MON!"

"We have travelled using Escapes many many times now and have both worked in the travel trade in the past. We are also very experienced travellers and have an eye for the good ones........
This hotel is truly worth the 5 star rating as advertised. It is in a great location being only 20 mins. from the airport and directly on a very nice beach which is protected by not only an outer reef some way offshore, but also has underwater breakwaters in place to keep the sand from being washed out to sea. The artificially created beach is no different than the real thing and has all of the watersports you want, windsurfing, HobieCats, banana boat rides, Parasailing, Kayaking and the reports of seaweed you might read elsewhere on the web are unfounded. We just returned on Friday March 6th. and we'd highly recommend Jamaica as a safe, secure, family vacation spot where the people and hotel staff here can't do enough to please you. Go with confidence. The only slight reservation we had was that some of the food in the buffet restaurants was a bit on the cool side for us - we like really piping hot food though - and it must be really difficult to keep it that way, so go for the freshly made stuff, made right before your eyes by their Chefs - the a la cartes are all great too! and we even had a whole lobster each on our last night there..........and this was at the buffet restaurant !
This is a warm location and it can be windy as well, not cold (25 degrees) just always a breeze. The trips are great too and Dunn's River Falls are quite spectacular. All in all a great time and sorry to leave this wonderful Island.

"This was our first time in Jamaica, the hotel feels like a 7 star instead of a 4 star. The food at the buffet was varied and very good, loved the Jerk Chicken. The facility was beautiful and clean and all the staff went out of their way to make you happy. Especially loved the entertainment staff, in particular Big Mama and Tekane. Great experience!"
