"We got what we went for: a delightfully relaxing time in a resort that was classy not flashy! Although not the newest or flashiest kid on the block, staying at Las Hadas made us feel like we were part of a fairytale. Impecably clean, couteous and helpful staff, Good food with lots of variety (no buffets except for breakfast!), interesting and beautifully maintained grounds with charming rooms all made for a wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to returning! This is NOT the place to go if you are looking forward to partying or non stop entertainment, there are many other resorts that do all that very well let Las Hadas do what it does very well and take you away to relax and enjoy!"

"We stayed at Las Hadas the last 2 weeks of January 2012.
Check-in went well and they gave us our rooms right away even thoufgh we arrived at abot 1:30 in the afternoon.
The rooms were large and included a flat screen TV and a balcony facing the ocean. The hotel is built on a steep hill and all the rooms are facing the ocean with an excellent view.
This hotel was built around 1975 but is well kept and has impressive architecture. The hotel is large but is running at less than 25% capacity.
Because it is bult on a hill I would not recommend this for ayone with mobility problems as there are a lot of stairs and inclines. One of the main restarants is about a 5 minute walk from the lobby.
The pool and beach area were very good and there was no trouble finding lounge chairs. Bar service was excellent but you have to get used to being served - if you went to the bar asking for drinks they would take your order and then bring them to you.
This resort is both all-inclusive and european plan so you are asked to sign for your drinks or meals.
Breakfast is served in the main lobby building and is mostly buffet style. There was always plently of choice and food was good. For lunch there were 2 choices if restaraunts both were a'lacarte. For supper there was one restarant for Monday, Wednesday & Tuesday annd 2 restarants for the other days of the week. Food was generally quote good as we worked our way through the menu's at both.
The resort does not have evening entertainment although there was live music in the restarants most evenings (guitar or piano).
This is a guiet place so don't go if you are looking to party.
My biggest complaint was that they had wi-fi but charged 900 oeso's ($75.00 CDN) for 6 days.
The resort is within walking distance of shopping in Manzanillo. It was about a 30 minute walk to Walmart and other shopping.
There were no time shares sales people and no beach vendors.
I would definitley go back, just wish they wouldn't overcharge for Wi-fi.

"The most amazing design and unique experience. Vast immaculate gardens with a secluded beach, prompt friendly service. 30 years ago they filmed 10 here and it is like the movie..a dream set. this hotel is built on the side of a hill so you climb a lot of stairs so this is not for handicapped or people with restricted access. They have golf carts to pick you up and taxi you around.
also not for young spring breakers. this is classy lay back with exceptional dinning...At the lepizza restaurant i had the best steak...EVER ...SIMPLY AMAZING"

"Very nice Hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which may have influenced my opinion, but I'd say for Mexico this is a solid 4.5 star. The food is good & you have the option of the buffet or ordering off the menu, & the 2 specialty restaurants are good & have great settings. The service here is also quite good. The hotels architecture is very impressive, however if you can't handle stairs this is not for you, it is built on the hillside & has numerous levels (but also has golf carts to ferry the guests around). Excellent beach & very calm & sheltered bay, great swimming, you can see fish snorkeling right off the beach. (Saw 4 sting-rays from the seafood restaurant at night! They light up the water) Great pool (swim-up bar!) but we spent most of our time in the ocean. Would reccomend taking the snorkeling tour. I would definitely return to Las Hadas & Manzanillo again."

"We have stayed at this resort many times and always find it to be a wonderful place to stay. It is a little "tired", but a lovely hotel nonetheless."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Las Hadas. The staff there is wonderful as are the grounds and the restaurants. The rooms in the Brisas section are nice although showing their age. Apparently the hotel was full however it never felt like that at all. The only complaints, if you want to call them that, are having to sign every time you eat or have something to drink as we were on all inclusive and the Mexican restaurant - El Terral, although very nice and good food needs some organization. People waited over 3 hours to be sitted and food to arrive. We wish we had spent 2 weeks there and would definitely return there. Love dealing with Escapes!"
