"This resort was under renovation while we were there, approx 100 guests, makes the line ups to bar and food a zero! Pools were great-lots of them! Food amazing, something for everyone- lots os excursions, go swim with the dolphins for 300 usd per couple, lots of fun; 4-wheelin or dune bugy, lots of resort free activities....horseback riding, tennis etc
Yes the locals come in from sat -sun, but hardly notice them as an intrusion...more fun to have the great atmosphere...casual and relaxed
until the male peacocks start screetching..LOL...but u get used to it and its amazing to walk through the resort and these beautiful birds are standing outside your door....luv the duck ponds.."fatso" I am sure is getting lots of bread."

"Beatiful surroundings (flowers, peacocks etc), nice view from the balcony, spacey room. However, almost no furniture (I believe at least one armchair would be reasonable), broken wc pan, no hairdryer in the bathroom, crammed bathtub (and it was called "Superior room"). Hotel service is virutally absent. Waiters make note of you only when you give them a tip, and forget about your existence two minutes later. The hotel area was stuffed with people searching to extract some money from you in any possible pretext and in the most annoying manner. However, driving in the area makes you forget about anything and become thankful to God you're still alive. "

"This hotel is a 4 star. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms have everything you need. Definitely get a safe for 500 pesos for the week. Security is present on the resort and we always felt safe. Plenty of food and variety for everyones taste. If you are looking for exquisite cuisine, go to paris. The food is good but it definitely is not going to be the best you ever had."

"The hotel was very clean..the food was excellent and our room for a standard room was very nice/clean with balcony. We were told there was a casino... there was, but it was closed..Also our flight left early in the morning and we were told we could order continental breakfast for early departure...that morning it was supposed to be all ordered and we got down there and no breakfast for us or the other couples...so that was a long morning...no food till noon at the airport....that was about the only thing that went wrong....thanks again

"Great trip, cheap trip. Heads up bring water shoes, bring chalk for the pool cues, the tennis courts are not night lit, the beaches are public but the security is high. Vendors are not arrgessive just say no gracious, Presedante is a good beer. Do not order a white russian, If the stores are closed do not fret the bar gives you 2 free cigarettees at a time. Chicken was delicious, water is purefied, but not out of the tap, but bring immodium anyway. Bring a large travel mug the cups are small and washed with regular water. Remember everyone else there is on vacation too and don't reserve lounge chairs. rent a scooter $5/hr, walk to the marina. Tip the maid $1 on each pillow. Tip your servers now and then. "
