"Beautiful Resort.!! Was upgraded when we arrived to a beautiful room in the Secrets section where we had our own buffet and A La Cartes. Lazy Pool by the resort was very nice and drinks with Premier Liquor was a bonus. Room service was very slow and if you book Concierge service that is pretty much non existent . I was disappointed in the animation team with very little activity and very little music on the Resort . Henry at the Beach Restaurant provided great service. The beach is beautiful and never any problem finding a lounger but the ocean is full of seaweed and oil coming off the boat traffic into the water and at times we had to get out of ocean or we would have oil on us.Very sad because they are ruining their beautiful beaches . Overall a very nice relaxing vacation !! I would go back again !!"

"check in was quite fast and efficient. Was booked into the NH Real Arenas, but when we arrived at the hotel, we up graded to the NH Royal Beach..... it was well worth the upgrade, (only paid $12.50 each per day for the up grade, and glad that we did). The NH Royal Beach part of the hotel, is adults only, therefore it was quieter. Had a lazy river around the pool, so bring a blow up air mattress for this, if you would like to just float around. There is also a swim up bar, and the waitresses will walk around the pool area to see if you would like another drink, so you don't have to leave your pool chair.
Our room was on the ground floor... Rm. 5153 and we found that it was in the perfect location. As you were away from all the noise of the people around the pool, but at the same time close enough to hear and enjoy everything. There is a Jacuzzi on the patio and even though it is on the ground floor, there is still enough privacy for use. Also bring lots of one dollar bills for tipping, as we noticed that when you tip you get really good service. Don't get me wrong, the service at the hotel is excellent, but you just get that little extra when you tip.
We did not book at any of the al la carte restaurants, so can't make any comment on them, but the buffets were good... could always find something to eat, and if not at one, then you just go to the other one. If you are going to eat at the festive buffet , on the NH Royal Beach side, during supper (dinner) time, men are required to wear pants. So, don't forget to bring a pair of pants.
The nightly entertainment was ok. The cirque show was good and worth going to see, which is on Friday nights in the square at 9:45 pm. Also the show on Wednesday night is ok...
If you want to go to the market to purchase souvenirs to bring back, when you walk to the beach, go left and walk for about 15 minutes and you will find one market (a small one), bu if you walk right and walk for about 20-25 minutes up the beach you will find a much bigger market. Remember that they will all want you to come into their store, but just say "no thanks" maybe later. If you do purchase something, remember to barter, barter, barter. If they tell you a price for something, always remember that you can get if for at least 50%-60% cheaper or more, never pay what they ask. I bought something, that they wanted $150, and in the end, I only paid $20. Just say no, and start to walk away and they will come after you and say "ok,. you can have it for your price".
Overall, I would recommend this hote and would definatley go back!

"The NH Real Arena lived up to its 4 1/2 stars in all areas of service from food service to desk staff to entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach, the food, the shows, the libations, our Paradise Clubroom (we changed to) and the overall atmosphere.
We did have some issues with a lack of customer focus with staff in both the business centre area and the convenience store but overall we would go back."

"I just returned from a very nice trip to Punta Cana. The beaches in front of Eden NH are excellent for families. Very flat, calm water, great sand for castles and very few vendors. There are plenty of loungers and tables, both on the beach and poolside. Everything is extremely clean and the grounds are very beautiful. We upgraded to a suite for a reasonable amount when we arrived that was very spacious. The restaurants were really good and very easy to book for the entire stay at one time. We even went early one night because our kids were tired and they allowed to eat at 6pm instead of our reserved time of 8pm. The staff is very eager to please. For instance, one morning my son wanted a hot dog for breakfast ( he is 3 ) and they went into the back and found him a hot dog and cooked it fresh especially for him and the next morning the staff pointed out that they put hot dogs out on the Buffet just for him. The staff's understanding of English descent but maybe not as good as in Mexico, but if you can make yourself understood the staff is more than helpful. All in all, this is a solid 4.5 star hotel at a reasonable price. It is even nicer than a few 5 star resorts that I have stayed at. A hint for families, bring a stroller even if it is a pain and your kids are good walkers. The resort has very spacious grounds. It is a long walk from the beach to the lobby/restaurant area. I carried a 3 and 4 year old home every night from dinner asleep, I wished I had brought my stroller. A great value for a family escape from the cold winter."

"Well very reluctantly I left NH Real Arena on April 12th after spending a wonderful 6 days/5 nights at the hotel. I was the last person to get on the plane back home as I didn't want to leave the hotel or Bavaro! I used to live in the Dominican Republic so I have stayed at several resorts in Bavaro/Punta Cana area and NH Real Arena is definitely at the top of my list!
Before I left the complaints on TripAdvisor were customer service related and I really don't know what people were talking about as the service was excellent, you never lacked for anything. We had a smooth private check-in, our room was ready at 9am when we arrived, we were able to book at all the a la cartes in less than 10minutes (don't know if it helps that we like the 9pm dinners). If you are a Paradise Club guest you are able to have a la cartes breakfasts at the Italian restaurant - most mornings my friend and I were the only people in the restaurant, it may not be as fast as the buffet, but your meal is hot and service is exceptional - a real treat.
They have a beautiful stretch of beach, it isn't a long as some hotels but it is one of the widest beaches I have stayed at. I spent most of my time at the beach, or at the private pool which had amazing service, the bartenders made sure your drink was never empty, they would go get towels for you if you needed them, Rapheal's words were "you are on vacation, relax, just call me over if you need anything" -- that is service! All the pools have a swallow area with headrests so you can sit in the water and cool off, or take a nap!
Food was great and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"I though the hotel was absolutely beautiful. Everything is brand new, friendly staff. The pools were great, the beach was amazing, very clean. The buffet food was good, but the a la carte could have been a lil better. This was my first trip to punta cana and it was amazing. I would go back to this hotel in a second, loved it!!!!!!!!"

"The Mirage at EdenH was a re-education on what a beautiful, and memorable vacation is supposed to be. From the moment we stepped into the Lobby, all that mattered was the gorgeous accomodation, amazing food, drinks on the perfect beach, and kindness of the staff who made it all happen. I cannot thank the EdenH enough for this experience. "

"Just got back from Edenh (May 15-22), and loved it. Was a bit apprehensive booking in December for a resort that was still under construction, but worries were unfounded, everything was perfect. The hotel and grounds are fantastic, as would be expected in a new resort. Food was hit & miss, enjoyed the a-la-carte resto's for the most part, the buffet could have been hotter and marked better, (hard to load up in a foreign country without knowing what your eating). Only had the green bracelet, so no "top shelf" booze, but plentiful regardless. Couldn't use the two "exclusive" bars & pools, but it never really looked like anyone did anyways. Staff were very friendly, even when not understanding english, (thank you Alexis and Felix...you guys rule). Chair problem has been fixed, mosquitos weren't an issue. Would go back in a heartbeat."
