"We spent the Christmas holidays at this resort and it was wonderful. I could not find anything I didn't like about this resort. There is a lot of walking, but they have carts available to take wherever. There are stairs to the beach, but they have a lounging area by the sea at the top for those who are physically challenged. The pool area was wonderful too. Would go back."

"My boyfriend and I visited Paradisus the last week of April 2008. The resort was very nice and clean--we did discover some small bugs when we left the bathroom window open, though, along with one giant one (I called the front desk and someone came to help us with that one! :)
Buffet was great, probably one of the best of the all inclusives we've been to. I would say the beach is not as nice as Varadero, and it is a little rocky when walking into the ocean.
We did the catamaran/snorkeling/dolphin swimming package--we got up early to get on the bus that proceeded to pick up people are various hotels, then about a 60-min catamaran ride to get us out for snorkeling....right by the Paradisus beach! It was a worthy trip, though, the dolphins were an unforgettable experience. Bring some snacks with you though, you'll be hungry when you're on the catamaran and not that much food is provided.
Great weather the whole time we were there. The resort didn't totally amaze me--I'd read so many reviews completely raving about the resort--but it was a very nice resort, no complaints."

"Quiet resort, very lush, excellent staff. Food was very good, beach excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed my vacation. The food overall was wonderful. Only negative comment is the lobster in the Patio restaurant and also in the buffet (on Wed. evening) seemed to be undercooked. Maybe that's how the chefs purposely cook it?? Regardless, aside from the undercooked lobster on 2 occasions, the food was terrific. Absolutely great cuisine! :)"

"Staff excellent and friendly. Food was excellent if you like seafood. Resort grounds absolutely stunning. Beautiful beach with coral reefs to swim out to for snorkelling. Another couple from Calgary said the spa was 5++++ star... absolutely a must. We were disappointed with the accomodations.... we have been 5 star Mexico and this was nothing like 5 star. Ok but not worth the pricetag. Felt it wasn't worth the price of a 5 star resort. "

"Couldn't ask for better- upgrade to the Superior suite it's worth every peso. Ate lobster 5 nights of 7, had a massage in the glass bottom hut that overlooks the ocean- awesome! Workers are friendly and many speak fluent English, so talk to them they like to answer your questions. Bring gifts as they can keep them as their tips are pooled.. The ladies love scarves, everyone loves candy, stuffed bears for their kids."

"What an incredible experience. My husband and I got married there (Oct/05) and can't say enough about the resort and experience itself. The honeymoon bungalows are quite the treat; very spacious, nicely decorated and we loved the outdoor shower. We were not the only ones to get married the day we did but the resort was big enough that you would have never known there were other ceremonies that day. Anyone looking to get married here and have a relaxing vacation should definitely think about going here!"
