"The resort was over-graded at 4 star. I would grade it at 2 stars at the most. The food was not fresh and I got seriously sick for the half of my trip. The most of activities were not performed as scheduled. I will not go back there again."

"We enjoyed this resort mainly because it was not overcrowded and we were able to choose where to lounge (beach/pool) at any time of the day without having to fight for a chair. We never had to wait in line for anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and grounds were very clean/well maintained. "

"The overall experience was nice, but not fantastic. The restaurants were good and there were plenty of activities planned daily. The staff was'nt overly helpful and very few of them understand english which led to a lot of frustration. We didn't have hot water in our room for days. Their beach was nice, as was the pool area, but given the choice I wouldnt go back to this resort."

"Very nice Resort in the Playa Dorada Complex. We just returned from 7 days on Nov 16 2005. We stayed in one of the 3 story buildings. Room was decent and clean always. A/C worked great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Airline lost our daughters bag and hotel staff went to great lengths to help make her comfortable(she is 10) and help us go shopping for some clothes. One of the desk staff, Frank, offered to take us in his own vehicle and help us shop but then the bag showed up from the Airport. Lots of Activities Daily. Pool was nice. Food variety was really good. We had 6 different buffet dinners in 7 days. Beach was nice, vendors were annoying though. Too bad hotel not on the beach but shuttle every 15 minutes was good. Try the walk, the golf course path was the best way and only took 9 minutes to get to the beach. We walked around the hotel property every nite after dinner and found it very secure. Security Guards were noticeable but not obvious. Grounds were kept impecably clean and well groomed. Excellent Family Destination."
