"Needed a stress free holiday. Booked this place because of the price and the Major fact....Adults only Pool. Oh wait a minute. That changed two years ago. Why would you still advertise this? No music in the pool yesterday and when our friends tried to add some tunes to a otherwise boring afternoon, they were shut down because the music might have offended some people. Well if these people were in the kiddy pool where they should have been in the first place, everyone would have enjoyed their time at the pool."

"The Riu Jalisco is very neat and clean. The workers are always scrubbing, cleaning and painting. The gardens are meticulously groomed and watered daily. The food is varied, scrumptous, and plentiful. However, the desserts are tasteless. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but I`d do away with the plastic sheets. They could also use a curtain or doors to block off the bathroom area from the main bedroom. We found it noisy at night due to the party goers who came in howling at all hours. Perhaps a guard could escort these people to their rooms quickly, or put people (like us) who requested a ``quiet room`` in a back part of a building. Maybe the stage crew could keep it softer and not shout as much either. The beach was beautiful, the bartenders quick with the drinks, and there were plenty of chairs. The lobby is large and colorful, but needs more chairs, couches, and benches. When people are waiting to depart or just arriving, it`s hard to find seating. The lobby is also a poor place for people who want to use WiFi due to the lack of furniture. The sports bar is noisy and not a good advertiser for those arriving. Perhaps, it could be moved. I`d definitely go back to the Riu Jalisco if the `price was right. Keep up the good work, Riu Jalisco."

"I went to Riu Jaslisco in February with my boyfriend, and we thought this resort was absolutely amazing. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the experience was incredible. The staff are so friendly and helpful and there is so much to do there. The food was soo delicious, especially the Brazillan a le cart, i definatley reccommend making reservations for that! My boyfriend and i are 18 and 19 and the entertainment was great for our age group, and there were a lot of people our age and older that we met, but we also noticed that it was a very family friendly resort, with numerous activities for kids to do. There was also so many water activities we did, seadooing, parasailing, kayaking and more! The pictures of this hotel honestly do not do it justice, its beautiful with a huge beach and great pools with a swim up bar. We didnt have any issues at all, and we are definately going to go back there one day! I also felt very safe knowing that there was a representative from Escapes.ca at the hotel from 9-6 everyday. We were able to ask them any questions, and everytime we walked by they would ask if everything was okay, and if we needed any help. One gentleman even suggested we take a walk down the beach to a small village which we did, and it was so great! I will definately be booking with Escapes.ca in the future, and DEFINATELY booking with the Riu Hotels!! What a great experience!"

"We had a great time and would recommend this hotel highly. Our room was beautiful and well maintained, and had a lovely view from the balcony. The grounds are fabulous and also very well maintained. The food was excellent and varied - absolutely no complaints. I especially enjoyed the variety of freshly made juices available each morning and the amazing seafood casserole. This resort is perfect for the family with children as well as the empty-nesters! All staff worked very hard to make our vacation a memorable experience."
