"We really enjoyed the sunshine and the pool area and buffets at this hotel. The landscaping was immaculate. Unfortunately it was billed as a 5 star and it really was a 3 star at best in our opinion and experience as travellers. There were some shining stars on the staff but most seemed unhappy and unfriendly. They avoided eye contact so they didn't have to say hello. By 3:00 pm the common areas such as the patios by the bar, the lobby seating (where everyone checked email) the beach were all VERY dirty with litter and drink cups and spilled sticky rum drinks. There seemed to be little concern for cleaning tables or floors here. If you didn't leave a tip your room wasn't cleaned well at all. In fact it seemed like many of the staff were only willing to smile or provide good service if it meant a tip. This is an "All Inclusive" and we pay more money so we don't have to tip all the time! Also the beach was very small, poorly maintained and full of pushy drug dealers. If you are ok just going and laying by the pool all day and enjoying the great buffets then it's a nice place but there are much cheaper vacations in Mexico or the Dominican Republic for his kind of quality. i would say save your money and go somewhere other than Jamaica."

"This resort had the best Jerk Chicken that I have ever had!!! They had a Jerk hut on the beach that started every day at 12:00 and went until 3:00, never missed a day! The beach was OK, very small and had some seaweed in the water. Very hard to walk in. There was a great view from the pool deck overlooking the ocean. Staff was very friendly, and the bathrooms clean! Had a great time, and would go back again!"
