DAY 1: Departure for Nice
Flight to Nice.
DAY 2: Nice (7 nights)
Your guide will meet you upon arrival at the Côte d'Azur Nice airport and will introduce you to the treasures of Nice, "La Belle": the Promenade des Anglais and the Bay of Angels, the Cimiez quarter, the port, the old town and the charming flower market. Enjoy a dinner of Niçois specialties and check-in to your hotel. The afternoon is at your leisure. (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch)
DAY3: Grasse and the 'perched' villages (130 km)
Depart for Grasse, the perfume capital, for a guided visit of the Fragonard perfumery. After, take the panoramic road of Gorges du Loup and visit the perched villages. Dinner in Gourdon and visit to Tourettes-sur-Loup and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a medieval village made famous by many artists. (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch)
DAY 4: Monaco and Monte-Carlo (50 km)
In the morning, visit Èze, the eagles' nest of the Côte d'Azur, perched 400 m above sea level. Arrive in Monaco where you will attend the changing of the guard in front of the Royal Palace. Enjoy lunch, then visit the old quarters and the Musée Océanographique. In the afternoon, a quick visit to Monte-Carlo and then return to Nice following the coastline. (Buffet Breakfast)
DAY 5: Port-Grimaud, Saint-Tropez and the Gold Cornice (230 km)
Depart for Port Grimaud and boat ride in the "Venice of Provence". Continue on to Saint-Tropez, a picturesque fishing village discovered by artists and writers, which thereafter became popular with the rich and famous. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, follow the road along the sea via Saint-Raphaël and the Gold Cornice. Stop in Cannes and take a walk along the Croisette. (Buffet Breakfast)
DAY 6: Nice
Enjoy a day on your own to go to the beach and take advantage of an optional excursion to the colourful markets of Italy. (Buffet Breakfast)
DAY 7: The most beautiful villas of the Côte d'Azur (25 km)
Depart for Villefranche-sur-Mer and visit this pretty little fishing village. On the peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, take a guided tour of the magnificent villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, renowned for its nine gardens (French, Spanish, Florentine, Japanese, etc.). Next, continue with a visit of the Kerylos Villa, an exact reconstruction of an ancient Greek villa. The afternoon is at leisure. (Buffet Breakfast)
DAY 8: Nice
Your last day is at your leisure. You can shop or take advantage of an optional excursion in the back country onboard the famous train des Pignes. A farewell dinner will complete your voyage. (Buffet Breakfast,Dinner)
DAY 9: Nice / End of tour
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight. (Buffet Breakfast)
