"We stayed in the Mediterranean Village in a Monte Carlo Suite, the room was absolutely beautiful. The view of the ocean was spectacular. This is a very large resort and most of the restaurants are located on the Caribbean Grove side of the resort. If you are looking for a small intimate resort you would be best to book the Caribbean Grove side of the resort. There are usually 5 to 6 weddings every day at this resort. Overall it is a beautiful resort with a wonderful beach. I would definitely return and stay in the Mediterranean Village again. The only drawback was that you have to make reservations for some of the restaurants. The management is aware that the guests are not happy about making reservations and are working of changing this. If it were not for the reservations I would have rated this a 5."

"We were upgraded so our room was excellent. The resort has an older part consisting of two-story buildings and a newer part with small bungalow-type suites and a 4-story building. The older part is quite "Carribean" with ceiling fans and patios with vegetation. They are close to the beach, actually right on it. The newer part is close to the huge pool and there is more action on this side of the resort. It seems the over-30 crowd had rooms in the older part and the younger people were in the newer rooms. There are many geckos to watch - they are very cute. At night, the crickets are VERY loud. Excellent fitness facility and a good tennis courts - they supply the racquets. Lots of jelly fish from Sept to November- I got stung. An awesome resort with very friendly and happy staff. Food was very good with good variety. The Japanese restaurant is not good - skip it; you will be disappointed. Go to this resort! The beach and water are incredible."
