For beach lovers: The beach at Sirenis Cocotal has quiet waters protected by the reef and natural palms. Great for couples and honeymooners, but not the best for singles as there is not a lot to do on the property and nothing close by. Also good for families as the one bedroom suite fits 5 people.

Sirenis Cocotal Description

The Sirenis Cocotal Beach Resort and Sirenis Tropical Suites form a top-notch hotel complex, situated on the east side of the Dominican Republic, on the Uvero Alto-Macao beach in the Higuey region. There is something for everyone at the Sirenis Cocotal, guests have the luxury of enjoying a wide range of specialty restaurants, great amenities and plenty of activities. The children's programs and supervised meals are a real attraction, allowing both parents and children to have a fantastic vacation. Set amongst one of the most beautiful coconut groves in the Caribbean, bordering a totally virgin beach extending some 400 metres!

Location In the resort area of Uvero Alto, 45 minutes to the resort area of Punta Cana, 1 hour from the airport.

"Omg..are u kidding me? this is a very low standard resort with staff that has attitude problems and for the life of me cant figure out why they are employed!The beaches are garbage and filthy,food is basic and the bar staff sucks big-time!!I spent 1 week in living hell!!!Couldnt wait to go home to CDA!!I would never recommend anyone go there even if its FREE!!STAY HOME!!!! SLUMB_CITY!!!!!"

"We felt that a 4.5 star rating would be ok but were very disappointed in the resort. It needs a renovation/renewal to upgrade it back to 5 stars. The maid service in our section was great but the food lacked quality and variety at the buffet. The a la carte restaurants were not very good, Italian-"veal entry with french fries?? Chinese, Dessert-uncooked rice noodles with pear and sauce??". The grounds of the main resort were unplanted and uncut with drainage problems causing a very unpleasant odor. Fountains/water features needed cleaning, painting and were in a state of disrepair. Lining up for restaurant reservations was a daily chore. The resort front desk staff seemed untrained and unwilling to give good service after initial arrival. We would rate this resort at best--3.5."

"Hotel is clean, staff is very friendly, The food is not the greatest. I have been to the DR before and the traditional food on this islands is excellent. The hotel focuses on catering for the white, stush, stock up europeans. That walks around naked constantly with no shame whatsoever. This hotel is not Hedonism. "

Kids Deals

Kids Deals - Two children 6 & under stay and eat free when sharing a room with adults; pay airfare and transfers only. Please inquire for further details.

For the Kids - Kids Club from 10am-12:30pm and 3:30pm-5:30pm, Club Rap (ages 7-12) and Club Galaxy (ages 4-6). Sirenis Family child activities include supervised children's lunch at beach restaurant & dinner at main restaurant, children's playground with pool, children's gift pack, and the mini-disco 8pm. Plenty of fun for all kids!
