"No fan on arrival and air conditioning barely worked and the thermostat did not work so it remained quite warm in our room unitl day 5 when we finally got a new fan put in after complaining about this one thing many times and little sleep. We went through 6 television converters and each day it would break and we would have to fight to get a new one and have it programmed. This usually took at least 3 to 4 calls or trips to the front desk and at least 1 to 2 visits with a manager. Did not recieve coke or pepsi in fridge but got one bottle of some knock off cola and one bottle of water and no beer whatsoever for six days until travel company rep stepped in and then got the cheapest beer on the island Brahma once. The room service that was supposed to be 24 hour only lnstead until 11 and we were told often to have orders in my 9 30 or we would not get it. Usually we would have to start calling for room service at about 6 in order to get something simple like some ice and a few bottles of cola and then make repeated calls and visit the fronts desk and managers office as well. Bugs coming out of sink, and flies and insects in the room the size of small dinosaurs. No facecloths the enitre time, and a few times were issued dirty towels if we got any fresh ones at all. My daughter got a couch with a 2 inch foam mattress and no bedding or pillow for three nights instead of the pull out bed we ordered and finally we got a pillow and a sheet for her on day four. Managers spoken to all said no problemo we fix but nothing ever happened. Witnessed staff drinking and taking customers half finished drinks and saving them up in some sort of slop pail and then the grounds crew, maids, security, cooks, everyone would go and help themselves to the beer and drinks collected by the guy picking up the galsses from around the pool and beach area. Even the supervisor was half snapped when I spoke to him. Hola gringo . Nobody talks to you in English except for some cookie cutter pratle like hola senior etc and then they smile at you like you are some sort of fool, or talk spanish at you and when you say you do not understand they just smile and nod. Brilliant communication skills. The shows sucked large becasue while the staff might be able to dance sort of, they did not sing at all, but lip synced and one night they held a karaoke night so they would not have to do anything. The bars and resteraunts were atrosious and do not expect to have any fun past 1 a.m. or get something to eat. 24 hr snacks are a crock and a lie as you might get a stale hot dog or hamburger that looks like it came from the buffet or grill on the beach hours ago and has been sitting around since. Try going to the early breakfast and see if you can get even a piece of toast as there is nothing but two or three very rude staff. My 14 year old daughter constantly got harrassed and sexually assaulted by the staff and even the security and when we complained we were given the run around and they made it like it was our fault and that she was lying. They tried to extort money from us to use the water sports which were supposed to be included for free and then the final straw was after checking out they tried to say my wife broke a bed and we had to pay or we would be arrested and even had the police called on us who convienently showed up in less than a minute. When the police arrived the refused to speak english to us and our travel rep told us to pay and get out of the country as fast as possible or risk paying more for a later flight home.

Room Tip: only room with good view was s block which you could see pool and ocean from. Downside is it is at the end of resprt so you would have to walk for ten minutes to get to the front or go to dinner or front desk to complain which you will as the service is terrible. also garbage truck comes at 6 am and is loud and will wake you up. This is still one of the better area and it is awful.
