"This resort was very enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and always cleaned impeccably. The washrooms were very well kept as well- very large showers but no bathtubs unless you upgraded to a jacuzzi suite. The staff were all very friendly especially the paty'o bartenders and all the waiters at the restaurants. The buffet was average as we had expected. I would especially recommend the Japanese and Italian a'la cartes although all 4 were fantastic. I found the crowd at the resort was a little older and too uninhibited for my taste. There were many couples that were in their 40's and older. If you are looking for a great party with an older crowd, this is a great resort for you. If you are looking for a younger crowd, choose another adult only resort."

"My wife & I arrived at the Temptation Resort & Spa. The front desk welcomed us, and soon informed us that they did not have a reservation for us. The front desk staff made calls to their reservation group and to US Vacations, with no luck. I tried to call the number that the front desk provided, but there was no answer. After 2 hours, they suggested that they take an imprint of my credit card (2 nights at $107/person/night).
The next day I reached US Vacations, and they indicated that they transmitted my reservation the day after it was made in March. Another guest at the resort indicated that this had happened to them as well.
The room was decorated nice, and looks like the resort website picture. Unlike postings on some review sites, there was a bathroom door. The beds were very, very hard.
The Quiet Pool is just that -- quiet. While you will see some topless activity, there are no games here. This pool has 3 whirlpools (not hot, but somewhat cooler than the pool water).
The Sports Pool is used primarily for pool volleyball. Occasionally, you will see naked volleyball here, and scuba instruction in the mornings. We were very pleased with the bartender at the swim up bar (Bikini) -- Lourdes.
The Sexy Pool is the hub of all activities, from trivia games to Women Arm Wrestling to truly sexy games. Many women are topless, good and bad, young and old.
One day we returned from an excursion, and there was no toilet seat! It had been loose, and I guess they removed it, but neglected to put a new one on. The next morning I went to the front desk and asked that they fix the seat, plus put a foam pad on the bed. The foam pad made a significant difference -- we slept much better the rest of the trip. Our first night it rained after midnight, and when we awoke there was water under the door and next to the window.
We spent one day at the sexy pool, one day at Xel-Ha and Tulum, and two days at the quiet pool. We ate breakfast & lunch at El Embarcadero (buffet restaurant). The selection was quite varied, and the quality of the food was excellent. I stood in line 2 days to get reservations for Dinner. One dinner was at Margaritas (Mexican). Food was great, but the open style of this restaurant made it open for mosquitoes. We ate on our last night at Il Piacere (Italian). The meal here was excellent. Even though all is included, we left the waiter a good tip.
We got great service at Paty'O Lounge and Bikini. The service at Diego's Sports Bar is okay -- it is very crowded since it is at the sexy pool. We went to a Latin dance show at Nice Shoes, as well as a Women's Leg contest.
Suggestions:
* Contact the hotel a few days prior to arrival to ensure that they have your reservation.
* Get a foam pad on your bed upon arrival
* Make reservations at a few of the featured restaurants.
* Get your towel on a chair early to get a spot you want. Pools open at 9 AM

"This place was off the charts.
After being transferred from it's sister resort: Blue Bay Club- which is a quieter, smaller, more family-oriented resort located off the strip, we were greeted by friendly staff, who led us to our room.
The rooms were absolutely fantastic value. They were trendy, clean, complete with a large flat-screen tv, balcony with hottub and cool wall decor.
The beaches were clean, and the food/drinks were always well prepared and the service was top-notch.
The crowd at this resort is full of energy, and many bare all, so the atmosphere is always exciting as you never know what you'll see at this place.
We went as a coed group, all in our early 20's. Although we were a bit younger than the average age, we made friends with many, and there was plenty of promiscuity going on between all parties. This place really did live up to its name and I will surely be back in the future.

"Temptation is really great. Really good food and nice rooms. Adults only, but a very tame place, topless, adult entertainment (no nudity or swinging as far as I could tell). Average age 30-50, both couples and singles. "The cast" as they are called are not mexican - they do the games and organize things. They are great, interacting with guests, getting everyone involved in activities. A fun party place, I would really recommend it as long as you don't mind topless women."

"Terrible service, rude, belittling staff. Drinks are terrible, my friends and I would just walk across the street everyday to buy beer, it was that bad. Food is pretty good however, no complaints there. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk just handed us room keys without saying a word. We got to our room, and it was literally upside down, tables overturned, towels everywhere – they gave us a different room, again, without saying a word, no apology, nothing. Beach is the worst beach in Cancun, hands down. "

"This property is an 'adult-only' hotel and is ideal for young couples/singles and people who enjoy meeting lots of friendly people! The activities are fun ... lots of 'sexy' type games. Topless is allowed. They do offer a quiet pool for those who don't want to participate. The ala carte Asian and Italian restaurants offer 5 star dining experiences. The service is excellent! The newly renovated rooms are beautiful. The drinks are watered down. The beach is not great. The location is quiet and it costs only $10 - 15 by cab into Cancun (each way). Overall experience was good."
