Our Opinion

A beautiful resort with modern amenities, excellent food, fantastic service and a great beach. All rooms here are 700 sq. ft. junior suites with private verandahs, hence the name. Whether you are traveling as a family, couple or single, the Verandah Resort does not disappoint.

The Verandah Resort & Spa Description

The Verandah Resort & Spa provides a stunning setting for romance, family fun and sumptuous indulgence. Nestled along Antigua's pristine northeast coast, enjoy watersports and swimming in the tranquil waters of the resort's two reef-sheltered beaches and discover eco-adventures at the resort and around the island.

Location: Beachfront, North East Coast. 30-minute drive from VC Bird Airport.

"The hotel is beautiful and the resort and the beaches are outstanding. It is quiet and romantic so I would not recommend it for kids even though there were quite a few. There were a lot of free watersports and the gym was large and well equipped. The main restaurant is not air conditioned and is very hot in the evenings. There is not a large selection of food and the more popular choices ran out and were slow to replace. Quality of the food is fair at best. The beach bar and restaurant was better. The staff were very engaging and we enjoyed the nightly live entertainment.
The accomodations are large and the bathrooms are huge. The tv's are 42" flat screens with lots of channels. Large balconies to enjoy the mornings and evenings."

Some restaurants may be open for certain meals only and limited visits may apply. Reservations and dress code may be in effect for a la carte restaurants. Time restrictions may apply for water sports. Effective January 2, 2012 the All Inclusive supplement for Nicole's Restaurant will increase from $25USD to $30USD per person for both adults and children (surcharge is subject to change without notice).
