Vienna Getaways Description

The grandeur and brilliance of four different Central European cities, each one steeped in romance and history, are yours to discover with Vienna Getaways. After you land in Vienna, you will be met at the airport and taken to one of our select hotels for your seven-night stay.

This package includes guided day tours that take place on set days. For each city tour, you will be picked up at your Vienna hotel in the morning, travel to the city where that day's tour is taking place, and returned to Vienna in the evening. All tours are roundtrip by bus, except "Bratislava", where you return by catamaran.

Enjoy a half-day city tour of Vienna and the Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the imperial family and one of the finest baroque palaces in Europe.

Set off on a full-day guided city tour of Budapest, including the Castle District, the Citadel, the Central Market, and St. Stephen's Basilica, passing through Hungary's enchanting countryside on the way.

The full-day Salzburg city tour starts with a drive through the glorious Salzkammergut landscape on your way to Salzburg, for a city tour that introduces you to Mozart's home town and his birthplace in the Getreidegasse. Stroll through the Old Town and see the Cathedral, the Festival Hall, and St. Peter's Abbey Church with its graveyard. Enjoy the view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress from Mirabell-Palace.

Your full day in Bratislava includes a guided city tour that takes you to the quaint Old Town where you can enjoy some free time for shopping, settle into one of the coffee houses, or take in some more cultural sights, such as the Castle of Bratislava. Return to Vienna in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at the Vienna State Opera.
