In Jamaica you can find excellent scuba and snorkeling opportunities, as well as championship golf courses. Enjoy jungle river rafting, parasailing, or interact with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove.
Dining & Nightlife
Most resorts have an extensive array of dining and entertainment options. Restaurants are generally more expensive as virtually everything must be imported.
Jamaica's Nightlife is full of exciting and eclectic activities with reggae, ska, and calypso music heard throughout the bars, restaurants and clubs on the island. Rick's Cafe is an internationally acclaimed party spot, known for live entertainment and a fabulous view of the sunset.
Shopping
Crafts are a popular souvenier with locally made jewelry, straw handbags, and leather goods generally a good buy. Much sought after Blue Mountain coffee is a major export and can be bought much cheaper here than at home.

Currency: Jamaican dollar. The U.S. dollar is widely accepted.

Documents
Canadians entering Jamaica need proof of citizenship with photo identification (valid passport or original birth certificate plus official photo identification, etc.) and a return airline ticket.

Note: Some hotels require credit card imprint upon check-in for any incidental charges. Hotel check-in is typically between 3pm and 4pm. If your flight arrives early, it is a good idea to pack essential items in your carry-on luggage (i.e. bathing suit, suntan lotion, medications, etc.), so you do not miss any valuable vacation time.
