Most resorts host live shows and contests. Some have great discotheques like La Jungla and Club Hola Ola.
Enjoy a night of ballet by the local company at El Teatro Principal in Camaguey.
Native dishes, such as the ajiaco or el mata jÃbaro, can be enjoyed at the La Campana de Toledo and the El Parador de los Tres Reyes restaurants.
An interesting fact is that this province is the largest provider of beef in Cuba, so look for beef specialties on the menus.
Shopping
Cuban cigars, rum and coffee are the most popular souvenirs, followed by wood handicraft and congas. Cuban music recordings are a must as well.

Climate: The climate of Camaguey is hot but there is always a pleasant breeze. Evenings and nights are cool and comfortable. Annual temperatures vary between 23°C and 28°C.
Electricity: 110 V, 60Hz, American plugs. Hotels often have 220 V.

A valid passport throughout your stay is required as well as a tourist card delivered by your travel agency, the airline companies or the Cuban consular establishment.
Driver's License
International license recommended. Must be 21 years old and have a credit card.
