"My husband and I booked Las Brisas in Huatulco for the 6th time. For a number of years (prior to this location and resort), we looked for the ultimate place to go to get away from the cold of Toronto and the stress of work. We have never been disappointed since we found Huatulco. Whether we go with friends, or go it alone, it is always sunny, beautiful, clean, friendly and easy. You can bet we will do it again next year."

"Huatulco is the place to go for your next vacation. The weather was hot, hot, hot. My husband and I stayed at the Barcelo resort, very clean. The rooms could use a up dating, and the buffet could be less mexican but other than that it was very nice. The service was excellent. The beach was never crowded.Taxis cabs were 30 peso or 3 dollars going just about anywhere. We will definetly be going again in the future.

"We spent a week at Dreams Huatulco from Nov. 30 - Dec. 7th. We enjoyed it so much last year that we returned again this year. It is a beautiful resort, very clean, great staff who go out of their way to look after you and a nice location in the bay. They even gave us the same room as last time, when we requested it! It is a good destination for both families and couples. The food in the a la carte restaurants is very good and no reservations required. There is lots of choices at the buffet and each night has a "theme". The breakfast buffet is particularly good. We plan to return next year for 2 weeks."

"Just return from a one week vacation in Huatulco, Mexico with my girlfriend. Before we left we weren't too sure whether we would like Huatulco or not. We usually go to more lively destinations or go on trips where we are more active, like backpacking and seeing many different areas. While we did plan on just relaxing and taking it easy on this trip, we still weren't sure how we would like the quieter and smaller destination
The first two things that caught my attention when we got there were... Yes, this destination is REALLY small. The town of La Crucecita has a population of only 17,000 and no commercialization. No fast food chains and not crazy touristy. If felt like a real, authentic Mexican town complete with the central park and church in the middle of town. It was a nice change from the other, very tourist driven destinations of Mexico. The second thing that came to mind was the beauty of the beaches and ocean. The water is surprisingly clear for being on the Pacific coast and the beaches and views are amazing. Tangolunda Bay was very nice! This is where the Dreams (where we stayed) Barcelo, Camino Real, Crown Plaza and Las Brisas are all located. Its sheltered, the snorkeling was great and sea kayaking, sailing and jet skis are all available.
I would recommend Huatulco for couples and families. Couples will enjoy it as a relaxing getaway and families will like the large beach with many activities available. Singles or those who like the nightlife will probably want to stay away from this destination."

"Awesome.
This is a quiet area that was a great and refreshing surprise. Absolutely no harassing locals running up to you trying to sell you something. Locals were extremely kind and helpful. The towns were cleaner than any of the Caribbean / Mexican towns or citys, and I have been all over. The beaches and streets were so clean. A must see is the TIPSY BLOWFISH - cheap COLD beers and the burgers are to die for. Live local musicians through the day. Say hello to Jo for me! If you love the oven pizza's, go to La Crema. What a cool "hippy" place to go. $4- $6 for a whole oven roasted pizza. Cheap beers. Relaxing atmosphere and the DJ is great! The shopping is of coarse cheaper than at the hotels so there is little need for haggling on the prices. The towns were very pleasant. A must see. But not the place to go and party. RnR and great people than go!!!!
Small villages and tons of beaches. What else are you looking for on vacation? Also this guy Jose and Tangolunda Bay actually swims out and catches fresh oysters. Chucks them at his hut, put sauces on them and serves them fresh. :) Plus from most of the hotels it is about $3 - $4 dollars USD. or 30-40 pesos. Each Way. Enjoy. I did!"

"Area has a lot of condo salesmen. Markets are convenient, but slightly more expensive than other parts of Mexico. Area is very clean possibly because of first world sewage treatment. Roads are mostly narrow and windy. Airport Small. "
