"Our holiday was great, 1 week was to short This was my 2nd time in cuba The locals are very nice love the spanish lanauge. Great time went for a wedding on the beach which was perfect. I would recommed travelling to cuba its very safe there.

"We went to Varadero Cuba in May which is meant to be the rainy season but it was Beautiful! There was one night of rain but it was on and off and didnt stop us from doing any of our activities as it was still warm. We stayed at the Iberostar Laguna Azul and the staff was amazing. They were all really friendly and helpful."

"We love Varadero and have been there nine times! Will go back many more! Love the people, love the beach! The people there are truly suffering but always have a smile on their face and for the most part do the best and the most that they can! Trip to Havana was well worth it...have done it twice! It was different both times and most enjoyable! Trip to Bellamar caves...been twice...and love that too!"

"we went to varadero @ alegro varadero aperently a 4 plus .after being in cuba 6 time thiswaseareal disapointment the food wase alway the same at luntch or dinner and not very good hotel wasepoorly oganize we ad to help out apoor kid that got hurt badly in the lobby the first nightshee wase bleading to death and the hotel wase not going to do nothing about it we toke her to the hospital by ambulance hour self .my wife got a pairs of nice sandal stole in the room the made weretaking any change left in the room of us and a lot of other customers in general went wecomplaint about it they shout at us that we should not let our stuf out of our lugages unlock no need to say if yourloking for a nice tripnot the right place unless you get it realy cheap pat"

"We really enjoyed our visit to Varadero, we felt safe and walked alone in Varadero to shops and restaurants. No one pressured us at markets or the beaches. The beaches in Varadero were excellent, they were very clean and the water was great. We are definitely looking forward to returning to this destination."

"We just returned from Agua Azules in Varadero Cuba. First of all Sunwing was great, the service on line, on the plane and at the destination was the best. The hotel was very nice and could very easily be upgraded to a 4 star with some minor repairs like paint and the front desk could have been a little nicer.

Over all I would totally go back. The food, was a little different but you could always find something to eat. The people around the hotel and staff we all very nice and helpful. Everything was always kept very clean. They do not have a swim up bar as I had read they didn't and one of the pools was close but that might have been because we went late in the season. There wasn't a 24 hour bar service but it was only closed between 7 am and 10 am. We didn't really miss it between those hours, drinks were very good but they didn't have a drink menu so you could only ask for what you knew. English was rough some staff didn't really know any, made it a little hard but they were always very nice.

The beach was beautiful, always lots of chairs and shade.

I would totally recommend this place to other people, and would return. And I will book with sunwing again. Very excellent service"

"We just returned from a week at the Iberostar Varadero in Cuba. This hotel is stunning and in my opinion the nicest hotel we saw while we were in Varadero.
Cuba is rich in culture inhabited by proud people so do get off the resort and visit the town and chat with the locals, bring gifts they're much appreciated.
Definitely go to Havana, it's a kaleidoscope of activity and architecture, music and the scent of Cohiba in the air.
The beaches by far are the nicest I have visited and the water therapeutic.
I will definitely return.
